What is a Video DVD? (cont.)

• The files are created as follows:

  • video_ts.{bup,ifo,vob} - TOC
  • vts_XX_0.{buf,ifo,vob} - menus for Title XX
  • vts_XX_Y.vob (where 0 < Y <= 9) - the movie

• The vts_XX_Y files are the title sets and each file, where Y > 0, is incremented after ~1GB has been written to it.

• Currently we can have 99 title sets under Linux.
