What is a Video DVD?

DVD's use a file system called UDF (Universal Disk Format), which is basically iso9660 on steroids. mkisofs (from cdrtools > 1.11a27) can create a UDF enhanced file system, but with limitations.
Video DVD's contain 2 special directories:
- AUDIO_TS/
- VIDEO_TS/
